A car was vandalized on Oct. 25. The vehicle was last seen parked in front of Moore hall at 1:00 p.m. the night before. When last driven 10 minutes prior, the driver had to pull over due to a flat tire. The tire had been slashed and the front of the car had profanity written on the hood.

On Oct. 29, an off-duty officer observed a vehicle on Farmer’s Loop traveling at about 10-15 mph and stopping at least 100 feet before the intersections at traffic lights. A second vehicle was traveling slowly behind. The officer pulled the vehicle over. The driver wasn’t drunk, but was found to have no vehicle insurance.

A Resident Director in the lower dorms requested that a vehicle be relocated on Oct. 23. The vehicle had been parked in the Nerland Resident Director space for a few days, a tow truck was called and the vehicle was relocated to the Nenana parking lot.

On Oct. 25, a vehicle was sideswiped in the Eielson parking lot. The driver didn’t notice the damage or white paint transfer on the passenger side of the vehicle until reaching home.

Michael B. Schwab, 19 of Fairbanks, was pulled over for reckless driving on Oct. 28 and was found to be driving after consuming alcohol, although he was underage.

On Oct. 24, a UAF vehicle issued to Outdoor Adventures slid into a ditch. No one was injured and the vehicle wasn’t damaged; after being towed from the ditch, it was driven from the scene.

At 1:04 on Halloween morning, police received a report that a man was sleeping in the Duckering building. By the time an officer arrived, the man was gone.

A CSO found a Proxima desktop projector in the hallway of Chapman on Oct. 28.

On Oct. 24, a complainant reported that a computer security device was taken from a computer in in a Duckering Lab.

A silver nano and its charger were reported stolen from an office in Duckering on Oct. 27.

Res Life contacted the police department on Oct. 27 regarding a missing person. Neither the student’s family nor Res Life had contacted the student for approximately two weeks. A welfare locate was placed in APSIN, and a message was sent to him to see if he was okay. He contacted the police department the following evening, as requested.

Ronald R. Frank, 49 of Minto, was found intoxicated on Oct. 24. Since his conditions of release included no alcohol consumption, he was arrested and transported to FCC.
