Senators Present:

Michael Mancill, Cordero Reid, Jonathan Quinones, Mitchell Davidson, Kayleen Hansen, Allyssia Garcia, Mickey Zakurdaew.

Senators Absent:

Lachlan Gillispie, Colby Freel, Austen Whitney.

Appointments: Undeclared Sophomore Erik Rickards was elected to the senate.

New Printer for ASUAF Office: A bill electing to purchase an HP 500 multifunction color printer (as well as ink cartridges) for the ASUAF office was passed by the senate.

Conference Room Furniture: A bill detailing the purchase of around $2,500 worth of new furniture for the ASUAF Senate conference room as passed. Furniture will be purchased and hopefully placed during the break.

Resolution Against A Statewide Tobacco-Free Policy: A resolution against UA President Gamble, Chancellors Brian Rogers, John Pugh and Tom Case’s proposal to go tobacco-free as a statewide policy has been passed. The resolution highlights inequalities of the initial proposal, such as no offer of other locations in which one may smoke tobacco and or the general discrimination towards smokers for a personal choice not involving the university.

Postponing: ASUAF will be postponing their next meeting until the new semester.
