Police Blotter: September 28 – October 1, 2012

Sept. 28– Campus police stopped a 25-year-old Fairbanks man on the Johansen Expressway and he provided a false name. He also had an outstanding warrant. He was arrested and transported to the Fairbanks Correctional Center, where he was charged with another outstanding warrant.
Sept. 29- A Community Service Officer found a woman in the Moore-Bartlett-Skarland Complex who was unable to stand. UAF Fire Department Emergency Medical Services were called and an officer transported the woman to the Fairbanks Correctional Center for protective custody so she could be supervised as she slept off the intoxication. She will be charged with underage drinking.
Sept. 29- A CSO reported that a woman had been punched in the face in the MBS lobby. A police officer contacted the suspect. The individual was transported to the FCC for intoxication and has pending charges for assault.
Sept. 29- The Wood Center staff reported that there were two intoxicated individuals in the building. An officer responded and contacted both of the suspects. They were trespassed from UAF and police confiscated their alcohol.
Sept. 29- A CSO found an intoxicated individual in the Taku parking lot and requested a campus police officer for assistance. The person was transported to the FCC for protective custody.
Don’t Underestimate It
Sept. 30- A 22-year-old Fairbanks man was found driving under the influence on Farmers Loop after being stopped by campus police. He was arrested and transported to the FCC, where he was charged with DUI.
No drinking in the lab
Sept. 30- Residence Life reported an intoxicated man in the MBS computer lab. He was summonsed for consumption of alcohol by a minor because he is 18.
The sleepy drinker
Sept. 30- Someone reported an unconscious man sleeping in Bartlett Hall to UAFPD. The 20-year-old from Ninilchik was cited for drinking alcohol under the legal age.
Oct. 1- A request was sent to campus police for a welfare check on a student that had not been seen all weekend. An officer performed the check in Moore Hall and found that the student was safe.
