Aug. 25 – A 23-year-old man from Warren, N.J. was arrested and sent to the Fairbanks Correctional Center because he was driving under the influence. He was charged with a DUI and giving alcohol to a minor.
Love doesn’t hurt
Aug. 25 – A person called the campus police because a domestic disturbance had occurred between her and her former boyfriend.
Aug. 26 – A person called campus police complaining about the smell of marijuana coming from a car parked near the Moore-Bartlett-Skarland Complex. When the police officer approached the vehicle, the passenger threw something from the vehicle. The party did not allow the officer to search the vehicle.
Dude, where’s the car?
Aug. 27 – The Alaska State Troopers were called to the Patty Center parking lot to help someone who could not find their vehicle.
Aug. 27 – Motor Vehicle Assistance was called to the Patty Center parking lot to assist with a car wreck. Both parties exchanged information.
