Letters to the Editor:
The Sun Star welcomes reader commentary. Letters to the editor should be no more than 250 words in length. Please include the author’s full name and contact information (phone number, e-mail, or address). Email your letters (preferred) to editor@uafsunstar.com, fax them to 474-5508, or mail them to PO Box 756640, Fairbanks, AK 99775. Letters must be received by Friday at 5 p.m. in order to run in the next issue. All letters are subject to editing for brevity and grammar.
Perspective Pieces:
The Sun Star does publish opinion pieces that are longer than letters to the editor. There are space restrictions due to limited pages in the paper, but a Perspective column is an opportunity to present a perspective on an issue facing UAF. Columns should serve the interest of the UAF community and be addressed in a factual and respectful way.
