Hello, I am your new student regent on the University of Alaska Board of Regents. To give you a little background, I was born in Ketchikan, AK.  I have had the opportunity to take classes from UAS, UAA, and UAF.  Currently, I’m pursing a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering and Master of Business Administration at UAF.

As one of eleven members of the University Of Alaska Board Of Trustees, I vote on issues such as tuition rates, approving operating budgets and capital projects, labor relations for union contracts and adding or removing academic programs.

I was appointed by Governor Parnell in June and will undergo the Senate Confirmation process in February.

I welcome student questions and concerns.  Over the course of the next two years I’ll be chiming in to keep you updated on Board of Regents activities.
