Spotted on Campus: A Squirrel with a Sweet Tooth (and a Plastic Problem)
Nutella is for humans, not habitat. Please toss your trash where it belongs.
Outside Cutler, a student spotted a squirrel snacking on a discarded Nutella container—plastic and all. The squirrel carried its sugary prize up a tree before accidentally dropping it. When the student picked up the plastic to throw it away, the squirrel, clearly confused and distressed, climbed back down the tree and up it many times, frantically searching for its crunchy "treat".
Littering isn’t just ugly, it’s dangerous. Wildlife on campus can’t tell the difference between food and garbage. Consuming plastic waste can seriously harm them.
Let’s help keep campus safe for all creatures. Please dispose of your trash properly.
