The University of Alaska Fairbanks Police Department puts out a daily crime log, that the public can view at https://www.uaf.edu/police/campus-safety-clery/daily-reports.php. The Bear Trap is a condensed version of this log. All of the information shown here has been gathered from the crime log.

10/3/2025 at 8 p.m. Nature of crime: criminal trespass. Location: MBS. This case has closed and was deemed non-criminal.

Public order crimes are defined as a crime where“perpetrators are pursued, arrested, and detained, and the local population—no matter which party to the conflict they may belong to—is able to move freely about the country without fear of undue violence,” as defined by the United States Institute of Peace.
